A Day At "My Preschool"

Since our Spring Breaks weren't the same I got to spend a morning with William at his school. He was so cute. When he was at circle he would turn around and just grin at me. He held my hand when we went our of the classroom. I was talking to another teacher as we moved in the hallway and he informed me (multipe times) that you are not supposed to talk in the hall. It was weird being the parent of the preschooler and not the teacher. It is so crazy how fast time goes. He loves his school. You would never know that he was much younger than anyone else in the class. He will be screened for kindergarten next week. They screen all of the kids, even if they aren't going on to kindergarten yet. I can't wait for my next school visit. I suppose I will break down and take a personal day.

Cosi

We took a family trip to Cosi last Monday. The kid room was a hit. Nathan was in heaven because he could actually do things and there were balls all over the place. We watched rats play basketball and William got to pet one of those giant milipedes from Africa. It was a fun day.

Thanks Easter Bunny!!! Bok Bok

What a fun filled time. They participated in 3 egg hunts between Saturday and Sunday. Nathan didn't get it, of course, but he had fun bopping around and getting into things.

The Easter Bunny tricked William and hid his basket and he couldn't find it. It really wasn't hard, William just kept picking up stuff we already owned and asked if that was it. I don't know about him sometimes.

Nathan got to wear new Spiderman slippers from his great grandma Sprang, in the buff, there is nothing better. He is our resident deviant, clown etc... Right now he has a roll of TP in the office and he is ripping it up. I don't know where he got it from.

Cultured Kids

We took our 1st family trip to the zoo a couple Sundays ago. We had a good time! As you can see in the photo Nathan wore out his pointing fingers. It was so cute as he pointed and babbled at everything.

And just in case you didn't know, William educated us on the fact that Komodo Dragons are not dragons because they don't have wings. Duh.

Last Saturday, the weekend after the zoo, we went bowling. William had only bowled once before and it was a year ago. He actually beat his mother most of the first game and that was with bumpers. He looked so cute in his jersey and bowling shoes. Nathan was so determined to pick up a bowling ball that he probalby now has a hernia. Grandma Barb came along to help with crowd control. Then we went to Chuck E. Cheese and Fazoli's.

We have been playing outside most everyday. Nathan is not sure of the grass. He isn't afraid, he just won't walk on it much unless he is pushing something.
