...and Summer is Over

William always wants me to take a picture of his mug.
?????? This was at the surprise party we had for Grandma & Grandpa Hummel.
Nathan likeys the sleepy. What a face.
Oh look we went to another fair.

We just can't get enough of those Lorakeets. We were the first ones in so they were nice and hungry. Nathan had one land on his head.
Nathan's first fishing trip. Both boys managed to get a fish. Neither hooked themselves or anyone else, impressive.
Nathan is the goat whisperer. All the goats got a good grooming that day. Comb in one hand, brush in the other. William could care less. Their butts need a good c0mbing too!!!!
He is the character.

Look at that form. This is also during the surprise party. Again William could care less. Actually he was running around playing with his cousins. Nathan likes the sports.

Kalahari 08: The Best Yet

Both boys got to try to be human hamsters. Nathan didn't really get the hang of it.
William got it going really well though.
We even managed to have some fun.
Awwwww. The boys share a smoothie. Not sure why they had diarreah all week?????
William and I enjoy Williams favorite attraction. We called it Rhino Falls. Actually it was Rippling Rhino. Lost count of how many times we went on it.
Thanks to Grandma Barb, mom and dad had a great time at the Mud Hut. We even had two nights alone in our room!!!
William in his favorite spot, the Tree Top Playhouse. "yeah it is best to just stand here like doofuses all week and then decide the slides are fun on the last day. Right before we leave is best!"
Tunnel races.
Playing in the sand volleyball court.
Thanks grandma and poompa for helping us finance this trip via our gift card from Christmas.

Ok Sorry We Were At the Fair Everyday

Standing by their entries. William got second here. Nathan got one second place for his unbloomed sunflower.
This wasn't William's pitcher plant, but he loved it. It was pretty weird. Anyone know where I can get one.
Nathan would sing"na na na na na na na na Batman"
William finally got brave enough for the merry go round. Usually he would just ride the bench.
This was my area and they were standing by their collections, which didn't place. Nathan had cars and William had dinos.

Fair and Stuff

This was the first year Nathan got to ride the fair rides. Yay. Now we have to worry about 2 kids being injured or whatever by rides and/or weird people working them.
Do not relax and enjoy the ride. He looks like he is going to the library.
Not at the fair. He looks like a little old man. We must play gamies. Interesting story. They won fish, who were both coincidentally named Goldie. Keith had to run out that night to get these fair fish a $30 tank etc... We left for Kalahari a few days later. Came home to one dead fish and a few days later the other died. Money well spent. The best part for the kids was the flushing of the fish down the toilet. I want to just work a deal with the pet stores where they pay us to take away their dead fish and my kids will flush them down the toilet. Win-win. This is what happened to William's hair after we were done skating.

We Have Not Fallen Off the Face of the Earth

We went to our first zoo class at the Columbus Zoo. We ended up going to two classes by the summers end. I don't recommend going. The best part was the donut holes.
We got some swimming in. But that is over now. We went ice skating in the indoor arena with cousins Lucas and Kendall. It was in Wooster. Very fun. Nathan didn't last long. But it made for a very cute picture.
We got A LOT of work done. Email, chat rooms, on line porn...
William got pretty good. He looked like a little old man with his walker. We have been doing a lot of fun things, but that has come to a screeching halt. Momma is working full time. Ask me how I like it after the 15th (that is when I get my first paycheck).
