This is What Kindergarten Looks Like

Making a craft. Snowman s'more.
A boating scene with his entire class.

William at his seat, not sure what to make of all this.

Getting ready to go in. He looks nervous but he wasn't. He was SO excited. Nathan isn't one to be left out.

Ok, so Crestview is awesome. The building is new and his teacher is grea. She is setting the bar high for all the years to come. The first day of school is like a big party where moms and dads can come and spend the entire morning. Which is great for moms and dads who are really nervous about their kid going to school.
Apparently William is the student of the month from his class. I will get the details on Friday when I go in to work with his group. This transition has been wonderful for all of us. He was so ready for kindergarten. He is reading already and blowing us away with his abilities.

The Birthday Part II The Party & Oh My Gosh My Baby is 6!

The post party cake gut. Someday I will think harder about photo order.
He should have a huge smile on his face!

Yes, I did that because I am super creative and clever. Keith did provide some inspiration.

Yes, the cake was a Lego. Duh.

Keith and William designed and built the deco birthday cake. We also had Lego presents and Lego balloons courtesy of daddy.

The Birthday Part I

A birthday package from Nana and Poompa. Nathan enjoys making candy designs.
William is excited because he is getting something he had admired at the store. Mega Blocks Streetz. A spin on Lego with Micro Machines.

We didn't give them much time before we left for a football game but he got them out and started building his city.
